Tangent International are recruiting for a leading TelecommunicationsService Provider. They have a requirement for IP Engineers to work on theirproject in Iraq & Kuwait.

Job description:
· Undertake installation, proper cabling, and integration of Coreequipment (HLR, VLR, MSC, ..) with IP nodes, such as MGW
· Provide first line & second line maintenance (technical support)forthe IP nodes during the Network OperationsPhase
· Give On-the-job training to other colleagues
· Correct IP node & network faults and performance degradations inthemanaged network
· Responsible to be involved in the development and implementation ofO&M processes
· Responsible for co-operating with the technical support of 3rd partyequipment
· Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of all IPequipments
· Problems solved or escalated to the correct group/team.
· IP network elements downtimes decreased·
IP network element performance quality improved

Qualifications:

· At least Bsc. Degree in Electrical/Electronics/TeleccommunicationsEngineering disciplines, or the like
· Knowledge of and experience working with IP-domain concepts &nodes,as well as CS-IP domain interfaces, such as IMS, MGWs, IM-SSF, SGSN, GGSN
· Knowledge of protocols such as Sigtran (Signaling over IP), Megaco /H.248 for MGW control of MSS(Mc interface), BSSAP protocol for BSC(A-interface), RANAP for RNC (Iu-CS), BICC for call control between MSS(Nc), ATM or IP for MGW (Nb)
· Experience in integration and technical support of IP networkelements, such as HLR, VLR, MSC, .., interconnections with MGW and RNC side
· 2-3 years hands-on experience with Nokia Core Equipment, integrationand/or technical support - wise
· Previous O&M and fault/alarm management experience on IP NetworkSystems
· Additional Circuit-Switched (CS) network experience would be a plus

· Take responsibility of technical/customer acceptance testing, forapplicable projects

· Provide first line & second line VAS-technical support during theNetwork Operations Phase.

· Give On-the-job training to other CS Core Engineer colleagues.

· Correct VAS faults and performance degradations in the managednetwork

· Responsible to be involved in the development and implementation ofO&M processes

· Responsible for co-operating with the technical support of 3rd partyValue-Added Services

· Responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of equipmentssed for VAS

· Problems solved or escalated to the correct group/team.

· Quality improved for VAS usage performance in the network

· May also be involved in software upgrades, patching, sanity, andcorrection updates to switching elements

Qualifications:

· At least Bsc. Degree in Electrical/Electronics/TelecommunicationsEngineering disciplines, or the like
· Sound Value-Added Services knowledge, such as Conferencing,Diversion, Call Hunting, Call Distributions, Call Barring/FilteringServices, Call Barge, Call Pickup, VPN, Messaging Services (SMS, MMS, MassVoting, Message Traffic Management,etc.), as well as Multimedia services,preferred· Knowledge of protocols such as SMPP, USSD
· Have experience in integration and technical support of Core networkelements with VAS servers/nodes, such as HLR, VLR, MSC interconnectionswith IVRs, MMSc, SMSC, USSD, VMS servers, etc.
· Have 2-3 years hands-on experience with Nokia-distributedValue-AddedServices, configuration and/or technical support - wise
· Have previous O&M and fault/alarm management experience onValue-Added Services
